Effective August 3, 2026. This is a working business draft and should receive final legal review before public launch.
CheckXL.com may collect contact submissions, Stripe purchase identifiers, the purchase email, edition and order details, license status, encrypted license data, privacy-safe device identifiers, computer labels supplied during activation, activation history, installer-download events, country code supplied by Cloudflare, support records, and Mailgun delivery status.
Payment-card information is processed by Stripe. CheckXL.com does not store complete card numbers.
The registered email is used to confirm a replacement-computer activation and provide secure license-portal links. Device identifiers are hashed or otherwise protected and are used to enforce one active computer and the rolling activation limit.
The website records limited page, order, edition, country, and protected-download statistics for operation, fraud prevention, and product planning. The download counter is designed to avoid counting repeated browser range requests as separate customer downloads.
Mailgun sends transactional email. Cloudflare provides website hosting, security, D1 database storage, and R2 object storage. Stripe processes payments.
Check XL is offline-first software. Local check, payroll, employee, and time-clock records remain on the user's systems unless the user exports or transfers them.
Order and license records may be retained to provide the permanent license, prevent fraud, support recovery, and meet legal obligations. Contact support to request correction of the registered email after ownership verification or to ask about applicable privacy rights.
