Effective August 3, 2026. These terms are a working business draft and should receive final legal review before public launch.

Each completed purchase grants a non-transferable perpetual license to use the selected Check XL edition. The license does not expire, but the software remains licensed rather than sold and is subject to edition limits, activation controls, and these terms.

The license remains attached to the email address used for the purchase. One computer may be active at a time. Activating a replacement computer deactivates the previous computer after confirmation through the registered email.

Up to five successful new-device activations are permitted during any rolling 365-day period. Reinstalling on the same recognized computer and routine license verification do not consume another activation. Requests above the limit require management review and may be approved for legitimate repair, failure, theft, or replacement circumstances.

Check XL may periodically verify the license, active device, refund status, and revocation status. Temporary offline use may be permitted by the software's grace-period rules. Circumventing activation, sharing a key, falsifying device data, or using one license on multiple active computers is prohibited.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. The license and protected installer access are delivered to the purchase email after successful payment.

Users are responsible for verifying bank requirements, MICR output, payroll inputs, taxes, employee data, required filings, and the accuracy of printed or exported documents.

Check XL is not a payroll-tax filing, remittance, government-submission, bank-certification, legal, tax, or accounting-advice service.
