The license does not expire
A Check XL purchase creates a perpetual license for the purchased edition. There is no mandatory recurring software subscription.
The registered email proves ownership
The license remains attached to the email used for purchase. A new computer must be confirmed through that email before activation completes.
One active computer at a time
Activating a replacement computer deactivates the previous computer. Reinstalling on the same recognized computer does not use another transfer.
Five new-device activations in a rolling year
The system allows up to five confirmed new-device activations during the previous 365 days. Legitimate exceptional circumstances can be reviewed by support.
